The FIX returns from its brief hiatus on Friday August 3rd, with a special chance to experience the party’s uniquely artistic vibe at the underground Cellar of the Counting Room in Williamsburg.
Resident DJs Dusko Justic, Shifty Kid and Jon Martin bring together their broad base of musical styles and draw from a vast cadre of fabulous party people to offer a creative alternative to a typical Friday night out.
The FIX, transplanted from its extremely well received weekly Friday nights at the swanky midtown Dream Hotel, continues to present nights of genre-bending dance music for an ambisexual, panracial audience of mature party people with broad and deep musical tastes. The party also makes for an intimate evening, foregoing door madness and avoiding overcrowding in order to create events that are more reminiscent of a house or loft party than a typical club night.
The FIX will be celebrating birthdays for Shifty Kid, Dusko Justic, and Marko Golubovic. Hosted by singer/songwriter Lydia Rhodes, additional promotional assistance provided by EternalSol, sub:culture, Feel Different and KID Recordings. The Counting Room offers extensive and affordable menu options, along with an exceptional wine list and an assortment of delicious specialty cocktails.
sub:culture is an ongoing series of New York City-based creative collaborative events designed to build a community of diverse, forward-thinking people with a broad spectrum of musical tastes.
